There are four kinds of people you get in every organization; >those who do less than what’s expected of them. >Those who perform what’s exactly expected of them.
>Those who perform more than what’s expected of them.
>Those who perform more than what’s expected of them and Inspire others to do. This last set are leaders.
The class of people that do less than what’s expected of them can be as a result of lack of competence, lack of passion or lack of motivation. As a leader, what would you do to help people become finishers? Follow these practical steps:
*Help them see more positive future they can have and become if they remain tenacious to finish.
*Help them see the negative effects of starting something but never finish it.
*Help them to plan their work and to schedule their time.
*Offer them constant supervisions, support and pair them with finishers.
*Give them accountability partners. Make them become accountable to others.
*Reward only the finished work.
*Celebrate the finishers in a special ways.
These practical steps would help your people become good finishers.
